How to request deletion

To request deletion of your Openings account, email us at info@openings.link from the email address associated with your account. Include your account email and, if applicable, the name of the business you manage on Openings.

We'll verify the request and confirm completion by email, typically within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When you request account deletion, we remove or anonymize the following data associated with your account:

• Your user profile (name, email, phone number, password/passkey credentials, profile photo).
• Businesses you own on Openings, including schedules, services, service options, work photos, team-member records, and template customizations.
• Appointment history and customer records associated with your business.
• Stored payment method references and billing contacts.
• Device identifiers used for push notifications.

What we may retain

We may retain a limited subset of data for a longer period where we are legally required to do so or where we have a legitimate interest. This typically includes:

• Transaction records and invoices required for tax, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations (generally retained for up to 7 years).
• Communications logs and abuse/security records necessary to protect the service and its users.
• Backup copies, which are purged on a rolling schedule (up to 90 days).

Retained records are kept in a restricted form and are not used for any other purpose.

Customer data shown to your clients

If you operate a business on Openings, deleting your account also deletes the public booking page, customer accounts that booked only with your business, and associated appointment history. If you need to preserve records before deletion, please export them from the dashboard first or mention this in your email request.
